concussedperspective:

you seriously plan out your downstairs/upstairs because there is no way in hell you are doing that again unless you rest for an hour!

fibro-nobro:

I think the worst thing about Fibro is it’s all about hypersensitivity. You are hypersensitive to EVERYTHING. Literally, everything. EVERYTHING is a trigger and EVERYTHING affects you.

Emotions, stress, food, noise, light, temperature, weather, clothing, socializing. That’s just to name a FEW. Everything is a damn trigger just waiting to make you uncomfortable. And you can’t control it.

IBS? Crohn’s? Who knows. WebMD says it’s probably cancer.

So recently I did a thing. It’s a play on the whole “Live Fast, Die Young” deal. I am happy with the thing.

Every time. Then I’m left wondering if I should make a new appointment or just hope it goes away on its own.

long story short, i’ve been doing serious research trying to pin down all of my symptoms for the last seven or so months.  got an appointment with a rheumatologist specifically so i could get a proper diagnosis—and whaddya know, i was right.  it’s fibro.  pain meds and attempting exercise it is, then.

too bad i’m only on my parents’ insurance until i turn 26 in november and then i’m screwed for appointments and pain meds (not to mention my depression meds) until i can afford insurance on my own. :|
